Synviron is operated by Inoculis LLC.
Research-use boundary
VSCC is research software for capturing, recording, storing, replaying, exporting, and visualizing patient-monitor data. It must not be relied on as a patient monitor, alarm, diagnostic system, treatment tool, or safety mechanism. A cleared clinical system and appropriate clinical procedures must remain the source for patient care.
Validation and compatibility
VSCC has been tested end to end only with a Philips IntelliVue MP50 over LAN. Other device entries on the compatibility matrix come from the VSCapture Supported Devices workbook provided by John George K, author of VSCapture. Those entries describe upstream VSCapture interfaces, not completed VSCC integrations or validation.
Device behavior can vary by model, firmware, installed modules, interface cards, configuration, cables, network conditions, and protocol settings. Compatibility information is provided without a guarantee that a particular configuration will connect, capture every signal, or operate without interruption or data loss.
Security and regulated data
VSCC’s current research deployment does not supply authentication, encryption, audit logging, or other controls required for a HIPAA-regulated production environment. Keep the system on a controlled local network; do not expose it directly to the public internet.
Operators are responsible for determining and implementing the approvals, consent, institutional review, access controls, network security, retention, de-identification, and other safeguards required for their research and jurisdiction. Synviron.com does not receive data from local VSCC deployments.
Open source and third-party software
- Synviron’s VSCC repository code is offered under the MIT License. The license files in each repository control.
- VSCapture is LGPL software authored by John George K, is downloaded during installation, and is not owned by Synviron or Inoculis LLC.
- VSCC Studio uses SciChart.js. SciChart licensing is provided separately by SciChart; commercial use may require a paid SciChart license.
Third-party licenses and notices remain controlling for their respective software.
